Diversity

FEW's diversity program has 3 main objectives, which are as follows:

To develop strategies which identify and eliminate barriers and diversity within the Federal Government;

To examine the demographics of the workforce according to age, race, sex, ethnic background, religious affiliation, disability, and sexual orientation; and

To expand the notion of culture groups beyond the categories protected by law and regulation to include socioeconomic status, body-size diversity, and family composition.

How do different cultures in the US and other countries celebrate the holidays?

Are you interested in multicultural holiday traditions;  Holiday traditions from countries such as Mexico, Spain, Austria, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, and more?  If so, visit California Mall where you will find interesting, entertaining, and educational information and even a few recipes!

You can also go to www.yahoo.com or do a search for "holidays in other cultures" to locate holiday celebrations in other countries.
