Bylaws

Dear Greater Oklahoma City Chapter F.E.W. Member,

Our bylaws update process is now complete!  The Greater Oklahoma City Chapter (GOKC) bylaws were last updated in 1993 and the bylaws committee worked diligently to bring the bylaws up-to-date.  The committee members worked to compile and gather necessary bylaws changes.  There were many hard working hours and hundreds of e-mails put into creating the Proposed Changes to the Bylaws.  When the Proposed Bylaw packet was completed the packet was mailed to all active members on February 28, 2003.  Our members were asked to return their ballot in the provided envelope postmarked by March 31, 2003.  Of all the ballots mailed on February 28, 49% were returned by March 31, 2003.  Of all the ballots mailed on February 28, 49% were returned by the required dated.  I have tallied all of the ballots and each issue passed with a majority of the vote.  The updated chapter bylaws will be posted on our website (www.gokcfew.org).  I would like to thank everyone for your time and participation.
